Courage

Courage is “Knowing your afraid of something or a situation but not allowing your fears to get in the way.” Accept you are always going to have some sort of fear and that is okay. Embrace your fears like a best friend. Do not deny your fears exist. Fear lives so love can cut through the darkness like a bright light of hope. Love is having the courage to pursue your dreams, with the fear of not knowing the outcome. It is living life to the fullest most of us are afraid of. It takes great courage to live our lives to their full potential. Courage asks us to dream big, make no excuses and to take chances. It challenges us to have goals, morals, ethics, discipline, self-control and determination. Courage asks us to be our best, each and everyday, even when we are most afraid. It is having the faith that everything will be just as it should be. Courage is accepting life on life’s terms. It is being grateful for every moment we are fully present in our own lives. Courage is love. It challenges us to love completely without allowing our fears to get in the way. Remember the Cowardly Lion in the Wizard of Oz? He believed he could not be the king of the jungle without having courage. He thought courage meant being unafraid. By the end of the story, he learned through facing his fears, he actually had all the courage he needed. Can I get a roar? So be like the Cowardly Lion and live with courage.
